According to Odaily, Zulu Network has open-sourced its first Zero-Knowledge Proof (ZKP) verification code implemented in Bitcoin script. The code, which involves mainstream algorithms Groth16/FFlonk, has been submitted to the BitVM repository. This achievement lays the groundwork for building a decentralized cross-chain bridge based on BitVM2. Zulu's next goal is to launch a Bitcoin cross-chain bridge with minimal trust using cross-chain technology and BitVM2.

Previously, Robin Linus, the creator of BitVM, had stated that the snark verifier in Bitcoin script would be a significant milestone in the future development of Bitcoin. Based on the current script size, Zulu Network only needs to split the entire ZKP script into less than 2000 sub-scripts.

Zulu Network expressed gratitude to all contributors to the BitVM repository, including Robin Linus and Weikeng Chen. They also thanked Andrija Novakov, whose latest paper 'On Proving pairs' greatly reduced the size of the entire script.
