Binance to Support IRISnet (IRIS) Network Upgrade and Temporarily Suspend Deposits and Withdrawals

Binance has announced its support for the network upgrade of IRISnet (IRIS). To facilitate this upgrade and maintain optimal user experience, Binance will temporarily suspend deposits and withdrawals of IRIS tokens, starting approximately at 04:30 (UTC) on May 20, 2024.

The network upgrade itself will occur when the blockchain reaches block height 25,006,118, estimated to be around 05:30 (UTC) on the same day.

Despite this upgrade, the trading of IRIS tokens on Binance will proceed as normal. All technical requirements for the upgrade will be handled by Binance for its users. Furthermore, deposits and withdrawals of IRIS tokens will be restored once the upgraded network is considered stable.
